The Caribbean Princess was scheduled to reach St. Maarten at 10:00am, but the ship was running slightly late. This left us feeling a little anxious as we had booked an excursion with a private tour company for the day. We were taking a snorkeling boat tour with Soualiga Destinations and we were set to meet at 10:30am at their small dock, which was a 15 minute walk from the ship. We originally were waiting by the exit on deck four, but were directed to move up to the dining room when it was announced that the ship would be marginally late.

Sea Trek St Maarten is a unique and exciting way to discover the underwater world. The tour takes approximately 2,5 hours and runs several times daily. You start with a 15 minute boat ride to Little Bay, where you will receive a safety briefing on the platform. There is a maximum of twelve people that can go underwater simultaneous, with a minimum of two staff members in the water to secure the safety of all guests.

Random Wind is a traditional sailboat; 54 ft length, cutter-rigged ketch and well maintained. Started in Taiwan and finished in South Africa, her strength and craftsmanship are just some of her positive attributes.

Registration is open for Sunday’s Tropical Duathlon! You can sign up as an individual in theMen, women or Junior Category (under 18 is the Junior division), as a team of two, or a Corporate Team of 3, as well as the School Category which shortens the course to 2.5Km Run, 8Km Bike and 1.25Km Run instead of the standard distance of 5/20/2.5.
