Caribbean STAY

Little Bay Beach lies around the bend of Great Bay, to the south. It is yet another picture perfect beach with fine, white, powdery sand. However, depending on the tide, the stretch of sand can become narrow. This intimate little beach has the advantage of its close proximity to the capital of Philipsburg, yet being away from the day trippers of Philipsburg and the cruise ship shoppers that arrive in Great Bay.


Dawn Beach is a fine beach of sugar white powdery sand facing the East side of Sint Maarten. The name says it all: early risers may enjoy spectacular views of sunrise with St. Barth's in the distance.
This beach has become quite popular in the recent years, for its pristine white sand beach and also for facilities provided, such as beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, bar and restaurant services. The best known spot here is actually Mr. Busby's on Dawn Beach.


Baie de l'Embouchure

Also known as Coconut Grove or Le Galion Beach. It's a short 5 minute walk via a coastal track over from the Club Orient end of Orient Beach. Or else you can drive in from the turn off that leads into Club Orient.


Le Galion Beach, also called Coconut Grove, Baie de L´Embouchure, and nicknamed "Baby Beach", is the next bay Southeast of buzzling Orient Bay. This laid back beach is surrounded by a coral reef that serves as a protection, providing calm and shallow waters to Le Y ou can wade 20 or 30 yards into the water, and your bath trunks are still not wet. It is a wonderful, low-key beach with a quiet and calm surf, perfect to visit with pre-school children. The beach is serviced by a couple of beach restaurants and watersport shops, namely "Chez Pat" and "Tropical Wave".


Pinel Island lies in Orient Bay, access is via boats that run from Cul de Sac. Some of the watersport concessions on Orient Beach also will drop you off on Pinel Is.and return at a set time to pick you up.

There are beautiful sandy beaches on the island and it is also worth to take some hiking shoes and hike to the two deserted beaches on the opposite side.
