Caribbean STAY

SOOTHING ALL THE SENSES

The 5,000 square-foot Spa at Curtain Bluff is located on the bluff of one of the oldest and most elegant resorts in Antigua. It sits overlooking the ocean and the nearby island of Montserrat. The combination of impeccable service, the gentle swaying of the waves, the fresh breeze and the spectacular Caribbean lush surroundings, makes the Spa at Curtain Bluff a paradise of pampering and relaxation that will sooth all your senses.

There are open-air walkways, waterfalls, a relaxation room with a water view and a ten-person hot tub overlooking the ocean. Guests embark on this unique soothing experience from the moment they walk in the Spa. They change into a soft and comfortable robe and slippers and go relax on the outdoor veranda relaxation room overlooking the ocean. The concierge serves the Curtain Bluff lemongrass and ginger tea “shots” grown from the resort's own herb garden. Following treatments, guests can relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi and refresh their palates with “Spa Bites,” a menu of light snacks of fresh fruits, vegetables and dry nuts developed by the resort’s spa director Gilly Shillingford and Chef Christophe Blatz. The guests are welcome to enjoy the exceptional view and comfortable loungers on the terrace as long as they want. There is a bar available with drinks and cold towels that the concierge will be happy to serve to them.

THE TREATMENTS

The Spa at Curtain Bluff includes five treatment rooms: four single and one especially for couples with its own shower. Massage suites each have their own private balcony. An anti-age facial with the caviar and pearl extracts ($180) lulls you with a series of calming cleansing, masks, and mists.  Also the Green Coffee Wrap ($120) gently exfoliates, allowing the guests to sweat out the toxins believed to trap fatty deposits subcutaneously.  Massages range from ($65 - $195). The salon offers a full range of services from hairdressing, to pedicures and manicures. View our menu for a full list of treatments.

The therapists at the Spa at Curtain Bluff come from many diverse places as Bali, India, Syria, Antigua and the rest of the Caribbean, bringing with them technique and experience aquired in their own countries. The fusion of these various experiences has created a unique Curtain Bluff Spa technique.

The Spa at this family-friendly resort also offers treatments for children. Basic massages and facials can be tempered for those under 18 years of age. The set-up of the spa is ideal, so parents can observe the treatment while relaxing on the balcony enjoying the fresh sea breeze.
