Caribbean STAY

WINE & DINE

Ever wondered why everyone is talking about Curtain Bluff? You don’t have to be a guest to find out. Their two restaurants, spa, and wine-tastings are open to visitors.

RESTAURANTS

A great meal isn’t made up entirely of food. Their two restaurants have scenery, service and extraordinary cuisine from varied and constantly changing menus.

Open every night except Monday, the Tamarind Tree looks out through an open wall on to a tree-canopied terrace, perfect for cocktails, after-dinner dancing and drinks.

The cuisine is Continental infused with Caribbean flavors and the pricing is à-la-carte. A different band livens up the atmosphere every evening.

The Sea Grape sits right on the sand, yards from the gently lapping waves at the end of our beautiful Bay Beach. Open four nights a week, the intimate restaurant serves from an Italian menu with an Antiguan twist. The pricing is also à-la-carte.

Required for both restaurants: reservations and casual-smart attire (long pants, and collared shirt for men).

WINE TASTING

Curtain Bluff is famous for many things, but wine connoisseurs know it principally for its 25,000-bottle cellar, considered one of the best in the Caribbean. In its multi-leveled, case lined interior, our French-trained sommelier, George Williams, leads tastings for small groups on Friday afternoons at 5 pm ($70 per person). Reservations are required.
