Akropolis Greek Taverna welcomes those who love fine Greek and other international cuisines and value fresh, homemade dishes served in a beautiful waterside setting.
The emphasis is on using the freshest seafood, meats and organic produce to create memorable dishes reflecting the rich culture of the Aegean. From traditional starters like Tiropitakia and Avgolemano soup to roast leg of lamb, casseroles, souvlakia, roast chicken and baked fish, the accent is on a mélange of flavours using quality ingredients.
In addition, the restaurant offers special evenings with other international tastes reflecting the cuisines of India, the Middle East, France and Italy.
On Monday nights, we offer a traditional Greek Roast with pork, lamb and beef and a buffet of favorite side dishes. Thursday features an all-you-can-eat Big Fat Greek buffet with classic styled cooking and a few surprises.
Come and enjoy our romantic open-air setting on the waterfront in Jolly Harbour, where daytimes are breezy, sunsets are spectacular and evenings are sublime.
Morning coffee and pastries served from 8-11 am, lunch from 11:30 am-3 pm, and dinner from 5-11 pm.
