On behalf of my colleagues and the students of St. Martin’s in-the-Field Episcopal School, I am happy to welcome you to our school’s website. While it may only serve as a window into the joyful learning and teaching that occurs here, I am confident this glimpse will portray a community that “encourages each individual to grow in confidence, creativity, and integrity”.

St Martin’s C of E Primary School is set within large grounds that include our own wood in which we run our forest school. We have a nursery – St Martin’s Fledglings – that children can join during the term in which they become three years old (Click here to download our nursery flyer). The nursery forms part of our Foundation Unit which has its own secure outdoor area; this means that all Foundation Stage children have free flow access between the indoors and the outdoors throughout the day.

Our Pre-School is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charities Commission, and run for the benefit of the children, their families and the community.  As such, we have a Management Committee (made up of volunteer parents/carers) that is responsible for the Pre-School and its staff.  Committee members are the charity trustees of the Pre-School, and meet to discuss key operational and strategic matters, as well as taking on specific responsibilities, from reviewing policies to undertaking risk assessments to meeting contacts at the local infant school.

Welcome to the St. Martin’s Primary School. We hope that it gives you an insight into our happy, productive school and our many successes and achievements.

We will be continually adding content to the site to keep you better informed, if there is anything you would like to see on the site please let us know by completing the form on the Contact tab.
