Having started in the aircraft industry as an apprentice engineer in the mid seventies, the progression to sailboats was natural. Arriving in the Caribbean in 1981 for the first time, I was hooked on the beauty and the lifestyle. It took me more than 10 years back home to afford and rebuild my first yacht, which, after having sailed across from Africa in the early nineties,has been our permanent home.After chartering and being involved in almost all the aspects of the marine industry for well over twenty years, we now have a family and are land based.... we still have the boat though!

We are located at Horizon Shores Marina, Gold Coast’s gateway to Jumpinpin Bar and Moreton Bay. We offer workshop facilities and have access to refit storage shed to service and repair all makes and models of petrol and diesel engines, sterndrives, generators, gearboxes and outboards. We also offer a mobile service.

MariGourmet Supermarket is located at one of the most exclusive yachting destinations in the Caribbean, Marigot Bay. We carry all the products of a full fledge supermarket including a selection of Gourmet food items.

Owned by  Xavier Ribot and Ruth McFarlane, the French influence is visible in the range of Gourmet products you can find in store. Xavier Ribot, also a renowned Chef, is known for his excellent French Caribbean Cuisine. Ruth McFarlane is the Managing Director of Admac ltd. the islands premier food distributor for over 20 years.

Charter guests aboard are greeted by the very elegant main saloon, boasting two magnificent walls of back-lit amethyst, which is the first thing to notice and feel. There is a Bechstein piano on the port side and a beautiful Venetian console and mirror on the starboard side. The interior of the ultra-luxurious yacht SOLANDGE exudes elegance, luxury and opulence, as you walk through the beautiful wooden floors with borders of honey onyx stone and gold leaf ceilings with Schonbeck chandeliers dripping with amethyst rose quartz crystals.
