Most PADI dive shops offer a version of this program, either in a pool or other body of water.

Mario Justin is the Captain of the vessel Sugar & Spice.He is 21 years old and is from the touristic town of Soufriere,St.Lucia.At the age of 16 years Mario began doing coastal water taxi with close friends and two years later was employed with the Soufriere Marine Management Association Inc as a Marine Ranger.

About three years ago, Mario met a couple who moored at Jalousie(between the pitons) on their 50ft itama,who today has assisted him in what he calls a life changing oppurtunity.

The Fun Part

There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to, after all human beings weren’t designed to do that – but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is coaxing them out when the program is over. The fun part? It’s all fun!

Octopus Diving is a fully-sanctioned PADI Dive Center (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) and IANTD Member (International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers), and also complies with all French diving regulations. If you are not a PADI-certified diver, we also accept divers certified by NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors), SSI (Scuba School International), CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques), FFESSM (Fédération française d’études et de Sports Sous-Marins) and other recognized certification bodies.
