Caribbean STAY

One of the most impressive and photogenic waterfalls on the island, the Victoria Waterfall, in Morne Trois Pitons National Park, is formed by the White River cascading over a cliff into a warm pool below. Minerals give the water a milky-white color. The approximately 40-minute hike involves river crossings and boulder scrambling, but these spectacular falls are worth the effort. Hikers can relax at the end with a dip in the warm pool.

On your way back there are two view points where you can see the Atlantic Coast and Morne Laurent to your left, rising to an elevation of 2,248 ft. Breathtaking!

Champagne Beach is located on the island of Dominica in Caribbean Sea south of Roseau. This beach was named "Champagne Beach" because of small gas bubbles continuously rise from the volcanic sea floor creating fantastic underwater scenery, which is with combination of crystal clear water and extensive marine life is perfect for snorkeling and diving. The beach itself is very rocky with black volcanic sand in spots.

Screw's Sulfur Spas is one of the most famous hot water springs on the island of Dominica. If you ask any of the locals what to do while you are on the Island, a trip to Screw's is likely to be on the list. In fact they have probably been there themselves recently.

Ten acres of nurtured wilderness, nestled in a canopy of tree fern and breadfruit trees, provide a green frame for the many “micro-habitats” of the rainforest garden created by Anne Jno Baptiste.

There are important collections of aroids, begonias, bromeliads, gingers, heliconias and indigenous orchids forming sumptuous compositions which set off shape, color and texture to their best advantage.

We did the tour of Titou Gorge, Champagne Reef and the Hot Baths. The highlight was driving through Dominica and seeing the beauty of the Landscape. The Gorge was small, cold - Do not JUMP if asked to- the space is very narrow and rocks below! It was something to see -short but sweet.

Visit the beautiful twin waterfalls located in the heart of rainforest vegetation. The falls tumble into refreshing pools at the bottom of this popular Dominican attraction.
