The Sea World Guest House is the perfect spot for an ideal vacation whether business or pleasure. Centrally located in the anchorage of the capital, Roseau, it is 3 -5 minutes drive to and from the capital and 15 – 50 minutes drive to and from most major places of interest .
The Guest House contains all the amenities of a large modern hotel; clean and comfortable rooms and apartments with balconies overlooking the scenic caribbean sea, cable television, telephone, internet, private bath and showers, air condition, ceiling fans, kitchen, as well as a state-of-the art swimming pool and spa. Your room setting can even be customized based on your needs. There is a sun deck as well as a roof top terrace that offers a panoramic view of the ocean, an area for fine dining, relaxation and recreation. You can swing and relax in a hammock two meters above the sea while you sip our locally made exotic rum punch from fruits picked from our front yard organic garden, or do some casual fishing from the ocean terrace.
There is a Souvenir shop that carries unique gift items such as croched dresses, blouses, skirts, hats, specially hand-crafted wooden plaques, Kalinago baskets and more. A shopping tour in Roseau or elsewhere can be arranged with the tour company on site.
The Restaurant and Bar offers relaxed waterside alfresco dining. The setting is idyllic with sailing boats at anchor, pretty coastline views and Caribbean sunsets guaranteed. A wide selection of traditional Creole dining is on offer alongside BBQ Ribs, mouthwatering rotisserie chicken, fresh salads and locally grown vegetables. There is a private jetty and terrace on the sea for hungry travellers arriving by boat, and we do offer a range of yacht services.
At Sea World, we cater for singles, couples, families, large and small groups. We can host events such as conferences, meetings, weddings, festivals, pool parties, tournaments and more. Our Afro Latin Soiree every Saturday nights with live music and DJ and the spontaneous latin dance class along with a well stocked side walk Bar and Grill is becoming quite popular.
The Sea World Guest House is blessed with an in-house reef just 20 meters away from the ocean terrace, so our guests can begin to discover snorkeling and diving in Dominica minutes after check in, so no long tedious boat trip is required. You might even be lucky to get a welcome tour of the reef with the Manager, Decima Sharplis, who is quite passionate about water sports. Decima is a cool, no nonsense individual. She has attended the School of Hard Knots and is very knowledgeable of the tourism industry in Dominica including the sites on the island. She and her team of competent staff will make your vacation a memorable one.
