Today’ social workers are recognizing the need to update and acquire new skills in order to deal with the traumatized whom they encounter.
Violence and crime continue to leave many, traumatized, stressed and depressed to some degree. Social workers encounter such persons on a daily basis. Consequently, the theme has been chosen for the year’s conference is:
“Clinical skills for the Contemporary Social Worker”
The presenters are experts in their fields and are ideally qualified to deal with the areas that will be treated. In addition to this, the structure of the conference will provide opportunities for questions, clarification and the sharing of concerns.
A certificate of participation will be awarded at the end of the conference.
