TS ERIKA RECOVERY EFFORTS
Dominica suffered great loss when Tropical Storm Erika passed over the island on the 26th August. We are currently in recovery and great efforts are being made to help all those who have suffered.
UPDATE (27-Oct-15): Dominica's road to recovery continues after the passage of Tropical Storm Erika. Several villages and communities still have incredible challenges, but repair work progessing.
Visitors are welcome and are asked to use Tour Guides when visiting the island's attractions. Make sure you have up-to-the-minute information when making your plans!

During the month of October, Dominica is bursting with culture & heritage: traditional creole dress, cultural dancing competitions, drumming and pan, and many local exhibitions -- all leading up to Independence Day on November 3rd. This year marks Dominica's 37th anniversary.
