The Grenada Co-operative Nutmeg Association (G.C.N.A) was founded on March 27th, 1947 by farmers for farmers. It is a co-operative formed to safeguard and promote the interest of the nutmeg industry and to help farmers develop and market their products. Presently, the GCNA has an active membership of approximately 3,375 farmers. Prior to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ivan of 2004, the membership was more than 7,000 farmers.

We are a few friends working together as tour guides in Viñales. During the time we have been doing this, we have heard thousand times from our customers how difficult is to find information about Cuba, that’s why we thought in creating a blog to help tourist coming to the island.
