Caribbean STAY

Our villas are located on Glitter Bay which is one of the most beautiful beaches you will find not only in Barbados but the world. This magnificent white sandy is just steps aways your villa and always free of crowds and noise. The property is surrounded by tropical and spacious gardens. These generous and well manicured grounds are perfect for both romantic walks and family fun. This is a unique feature not be found anywhere else on the west coast.

The Black Pearl Seafood & Steakhouse Wine Bar is located on the beachfront of Hastings where patrons can enjoy not only a restaurant but also two wine bars. The establishment is owned by a Greek husband and wife team who put a Greek spin on the menu. Try the Moussaka with Green Salad which is a melody of oven baked vegetables served with cheesy béchamel cream sauce, followed by their dreamy dessert of Caramel Cheese Cake served with chunky fruits and nutmeg gelato.

An enclave of stunning natural beauty, our six-acre oceanfront retreat takes guests on an effortless journey of rest and renewal. Taking our cue from the ancient healing traditions of the Taino people, Zemi Beach House Resort & Spa inspires in guests a deep sense of contentment and wellbeing.

Uncle Ernie’s Shoal Bay Beach Bar is one of the best known eateries in Anguilla. It is proudly situated at the end of the main road to Shoal Bay East Beach; One of the most beautiful stretches of sand in the Caribbean and the most popular in Anguilla.

The bar was opened in 1984 by the late Ernest Benjamin Harrigan affectionately known to most everyone on the island as ‘Uncle Ernie’. It remains a family affair owned now by his daughters Eileen and Icilma and his nephew Franklin.

The Madeariman Beach Club is a new place to stay on Shoal Bay. This small inn is located right on the sandy beach, but the room privacy is enhanced by a veranda and landscaping. It has four suites and one studio. The furnishings and decor are especially nice (and brand new of course). All units have air conditioning and ceiling fans, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and telephone.

Official Opening: Thursday, December 14, 2000 at 5 pm. Entertainment, hors d'ouevres, refreshments - proprieter: Bevington Harrigan.

late Part of a complex with shops west of the Sandy Ground roundabout. Dance floor outside in a courtyard and bar and disco inside as well. On the last Fri of the month they host very popular over-30s nights, which start earlier at around 2130 and have live bands.

We were still coming down from the high of a wonderful experience aboard Chocolat. We had thoroughly enjoyed the picnic that the captain's wife, Jacquie, had prepared for that outing.

Jacquie also happens to own and run Ripples restaurant in Sandy Ground! This popular Anguilla dining spot was long overdue on our "must visit" list. So off we went.

A friendly waitress seated us, handed out menus, and took our order for drinks. Yuki settled right in... .. sipping a strawberry daiquiri (extra rum, ha!)

The night was already off to a great start.

Many who visit Anguilla find a way to spend at evening at The Viceroy's Sunset Lounge.

While it's not typical Caribbean style or unique, like many of Anguilla's night spots, it is beautiful and offers sushi, small plates, and cocktails.

Check The Viceroy for a live music schedule as it tends to change often. There is a popular and fun dj there for dancing sometimes too!

Darvin's Place is new to the Anguilla nightlife scene. While mostly local, you will find some tourists do wander in.

A DJ set or live music plays all weekend. The live music is what keeps people coming back.

Darvin Mussington is part of a musical family The Mussingtons who have some returning visiting fans that go back as far as the 80's and 90's.

You can expect to hear reggae, calypso and soca.

If you are in the mood for some lively live music and dancing, go hang out at Darvin's on the weekend nights!

Bankie Banx's Dune Preserve has a magical setting. A ramshackle of an establishment, made of driftwood and other treasures found from the sea, its location on Rendezvous Bay, with the rolling waves at its edge, and the twinkling lights of St. Martin in the distance, make it one of the most special spots in Anguilla.

It's no wonder CNN rated The Dune as #1 beach bar in the world!
