He speaks both Spanish and Portuguese fluently and first starting working in Cuba in 2002. Since then has found it hard to stay away from the island for any length of time. In the 1920 s and 1930 s the Art Deco style had impact in all areas of desing, including fashion, automobile grafic and interior desing. In Architecture, it was characterized by lavish ornamentation, geometric shapes, and the use of luxury and costly materials (marble, ivory, plated metals, glass, etc.), and concrete and steel structures.

The island was cheerful with the economic changes that allowed the revival of trades, along with the progress of luxury hospitality, it was turning into something more than a beach destination. Never, during our more than 15 years of experience in Internet for the tourism industry, did we experience the energy emanating from the streets of Havana at the time.
