I first came to Dominica back in 1979 and knew, almost immediately that it was the place for me.  Since that initial visit, I’ve traveled to many magical places throughout the world, however, nowhere has inspired me in quite the way Dominica did – and still does.
In 1999, I finally decided to leave England, move to Dominica and build Beau Rive.  In short, I’ve tried to create a hotel I had always hoped to discover on a tropical island.  One that is intimate, low-key, with a simple elegance and an attention to detail.

A small cozy hotel (15 rooms) in the center of Dominica's west coast, situated on a 100foot cliff, offering stunning views over the Caribbean Sea.
Built and managed according to ecological and sustainable principles.

Located just 10 minutes South of Melville Hall airport, Dominica’s newest boutique hotel integrates a simple modern aesthetic with comfortable rusticity in a stylish ocean view retreat overlooking Pagua Bay. With cool Atlantic breezes year round Pagua Bay House offers the perfect place for a quiet get away, where all unnatural noise is replaced by sounds of the surf.

Tucked away on the unspoilt nature island of Dominica, Secret Bay offers sustainable luxury villas and bungalows and is the perfect place for a romantic honeymoon, an anniversary celebration or the holiday of a lifetime. Situated on a cliff-top overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Secret Bay is unique in its diversity: two beaches, the magical Cario River, a spectacular sea cave and two distinct micro-climates.

The Garraway Hotel sits on the original site of the first commercial establishment in Roseau, the capital city – hence its address No 1 Bay Front, Roseau which was eventually changed to One Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard following the naming of that site in honor of the Caribbean’s and Dominica’s first female Prime Minister.

Dominica is a small unspoiled Caribbean island, more commonly known as The Nature Island of the Caribbean. It is located north of Martinique and south of Guadeloupe, two French Islands while Dominica is English speaking. It is an island in the Lesser Antilles and is 750 square kilometers in size.
