Caribbean Brokerage are Yacht Brokers serving the Eastern Caribbean with offices conveniently situated in English Harbour, Antigua in the heart of the Leeward Islands, and St Georges, Grenada serving the Windward islands.
Established in 2011 by local Chartered Surveyor and Marine Surveyor Richard Watson, Caribbean Brokerage have already sold a number of locally based yachts, mainly to overseas buyers who they have found as a result of their extensive marketing efforts.
They will only list yachts they have personally inspected that are based either in Antigua or Grenada and the neighbouring islands, where they can personally arrange inspections and sea-trials.
Once a buyer has been found they will conduct the sale on your behalf, drawing up the contract and checking all the documentation, usually without the need to pay any additional attorney fees.
Commission Rates
Their commission rate is a very competitive 8% for boats based in either Antigua or Grenada and for this they undertake to mount an effective sales campaign for your yacht and you will receive their best efforts. Please enquire for yachts based elsewhere.
Other services
Through their membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) the International Institute of Marine Surveyors (IIMS) and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) they are also qualified to offer Yacht Surveying services in Antigua, and Sail Training in Grenada through an associated RYA sail training school.
