ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION STATEMENT OF INTENT
To develop the sport of basketball in Antigua and Barbuda and to use the sport as a tool to empower today’s youth with confidence, commitment and integrity, and to offer programs that promote healthy lifestyles, encourage moral character, develop self-discipline, cultivate a strong work ethic, and build the confidence needed to achieve personal success.
The Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association ABBA administers two competitions annually, The National League (Male and Female) and the Business League. The Association also sanctions the school league and several community tournaments/leagues annually.
The National League comprised of three male divisions:
• Division 1: 10 teams
• Division 2: 10 teams
• Division 3: 6 teams
Female League consist of 3 teams.
